All Delays Due to Weather Will Be 2 Hours - No More 90 Minute Delays
Beginning this school year, all delayed openings due to adverse weather conditions will be 2 hour delays in Guilford Public Schools. We will no longer utilize a 90 minute delay schedule. This decision has been made to provide more time for potentially hazardous traveling conditions to clear in the morning, to allow more opportunity for our school and town crews to address streets and parking lots and to better align our schedule with neighboring school districts.
Safe Homes/Smart Parties - Take the Pledge

A Guilford DAY initiative, the Safe Homes / Smart Parties Program asks parents to follow three simple rules: 1) Not to serve, or allow alcohol or drugs to other people's children; 2) Not to, knowingly, allow parties in your home that are not appropriately supervised; and 3) Allow other parents to email you if they want to confirm parental knowledge of a party or if they have a question.

Join district and school administrators and teachers to learn about the implementation of the Common Core State Standards in the Guilford Schools.

Parents and guardians are invited to ask questions and share observations. Visitors are welcome to attend any session.
Guilford High School Holiday Concerts on the Green
The Guilford High School annual holiday concerts, featuring GHS Voices, Concert Choir and Symphony Orchestra, will be held at the Guilford First Congregational Church on the Green on Friday, December 5th at 7:30 pm and 9 pm, and on Saturday, December 6th at 7 pm and 8:30 pm.
Enterovirus Information from Guilford Public Schools
Much has been reported in the media concerning a strain of enterovirus that recently hit the Midwest. Guilford Public Schools' Medical Advisor Rob Nolfo and Superintendent of Schools Paul Freeman share some basic information regarding this strain of enterovirus and provide some simple tips to reduce your and your child’s likelihood of becoming infected.

Guilford’s 375 Anniversary Celebration Committee has planned and executed events throughout the year to commemorate and celebrate this important milestone in the Town’s history.
