2014 Friend of Education Recognizes Guilford's 375th Anniversary Committee

The work of Guilford Public Schools 2014 Friend of Education has touched the entire Guilford Community. Guilford’s 375 Anniversary Celebration Committee has planned and executed events throughout the year to commemorate and celebrate this important milestone in the Town’s history. Central to these celebrations has been the involvement of Guilford Public Schools students.
Board of Ed Special Meeting - Common Core Feedback
Wednesday, August 13, 7pm, Guilford High School Library - The Guilford Board of Education invites parents and guardians to a special meeting to share students' classroom experiences following the first year of implementation of the Common Core State Standards in Guilford Public Schools.
Smarter Balanced Achievement Level Setting
Smarter Balanced is inviting up to a quarter of a million K-12 educators, higher education faculty, parents, and other interested parties to participate virtually in recommending achievement level scores.
Guilford Schools Appoint Calvin Leete and Baldwin Middle School Principals
The Guilford Board of Education appointed William Grimm as the next principal of Calvin Leete Elementary School and Douglas Hammel as the next principal of Abraham Baldwin Middle School at their meeting Monday, June 23, 2014.

Both new principals will begin in the district on August 1, 2014.
