Schools and Administrative Offices Closed Tuesday, January 27th - Early Dismissal and No Activities Monday, January 26th
Guilford Public Schools is on an early dismissal schedule today, Monday, January 26th. All after school and evening activities are cancelled today.

Tuesday, January 27th there will be no school and all offices will be closed due to the blizzard.
SATs Postponed on Saturday Have Been Rescheduled for February 7th
The Saturday January 24, 2015 SAT administration at the Guilford High School Test Center (#07266) has been postponed. The make-up date will be February 7, 2015. Please refer to the SAT program on the Collegeboard website for more information at www.collegeboard.org

James H. Borland, Ph.D. was hired by the Guilford Board of Education to evaluate the services provided by the Guilford Public Schools for high-achieving students based on data gathered during five visits to the school district between July and December 2014.

Dr. Borland's report “Evaluation of and Recommendations Concerning Services for High-achieving Students in the Guilford, Connecticut Schools” was presented to the Guilford Board of Education in December 2014.

GHS Voices Perform at Governor's Inauguration
Guilford High School Voices performed at the Inauguration of Governor Dannel Malloy this week. Congratulations to our students and Director Kevin Buno on a wonderful job!
GHS Students Host Blood Drive

The American Red Cross blood drive on December 17th, sponsored by the Guilford High School Student Senate, “was a complete success,” declared faculty advisor Jennifer Fitting. “We filled all 86 available appointments,” added advisor Ali Strzepek.
Public Forum to Consider Later High School Start Times and School Schedules - January 7th
The Guilford Board of Education will host a Public Forum to Consider Later High School Start Times and School Schedules on Wednesday, January 7th at 7pm in the Chorus Room at Adams Middle School. The Board and the Administration are in the early stages of exploring several school schedules that would move back the start time for Guilford High School to allow students more time to sleep, and they encourage input from parents and guardians.
